"May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears."

While I was driving through a mountainous part of the Cabot Trail, frantically looking for a good spot to set up a timelapse of the sunset, I noticed a bunch of cars pulled over on the side of the road. I was happy to find that they were watching a moose with her calf eating grass. The calf was switching back and forth between eating grass and drinking milk. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something in the  distance and noticed it was the silhouette of a wolf crossing the road, probably following the moose and hoping for a nice meal itself. I don’t think the wolf would stand a chance against a mad momma moose. If it were a wolf pack, then that would be a different story.

Every year I produce a slew of shark art during Shark Week! I’m new to using oil paints, but I liked the chaotic rhythm of this piece. :)
